Am 22. Januar 2014 fand im Grünen Salon der Berlin Volksbühne die Podiumsdiskussion “Wer spielt im deutschen Fernsehen eine Rolle?” statt, veranstaltet von WIFT Germany.

International Women’s Day

In January, WIFT Germany organized a panel discussion in Berlin with the title “Who plays the Parts in German Television? – The Female Image between Television Reality and Real Life”.  A female documentary director chaired the event, four women were on the panel: an author, a director, a producer and a casting director.

Unfortunately there is no transcript or even summary of this very lively and inspiring discussion. So today, there is no proper English version of the blog post. My apologies.

A very happy International Women’s Day from Berlin, here’s to a better future for female filmmakers all over the world – leading to better film and television productions for all audiences everywhere!
