I was asked to present some basic facts on the situation of women and men in the film and television industry behind and in front of the camera. These were my preliminary questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who is working in which division?<\/li>\n<li>Who is employed in which film?<\/li>\n<li>Who is paid how much money?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are the figures from my presentation.<br \/>\nWe can clearly see for most film departments and groups of films (TV or cinema) that <strong>the share of female filmmakers actually working is less than their share within the department<\/strong>. The little data there is on <strong>wages and pay<\/strong> within the industry point to another <strong>disadvantage for women<\/strong>. Of course women edit films as well, in all other three groups the female editors were around 60 %. Also worth noting is the high share of camerawomen for the TV groups\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><br style=\"clear: both\" \/><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/schspin.stieve.com\/gb\/11gew_4gr_en\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/schspin.stieve.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/11gew_4gr_en-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail no-lazy\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-3121\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-3121'>\n\t\t\t\tComparing all 4 film groups for 2013 distinct differences occur for most departments.
